Commer FC Pickup Kit

This 1:43.5 scale kit features a highly detailed, single piece, resin printed body and simple to assemble chassis/interior.

Introduced in 1960 the fully open pickup version of the Commer FC was often used by light haulage operators and many construction trades.

In common with many vans of the period the Commer FC was also produced with a canopy pickup body that offered a partially enclosed load bed. The canopy style pickup was commonly used by builders, with a bench seat being fitted in the covered portion of the rear body to accomodate workers. Examples of the canopy bodied FC could also to be found at large railway stations and ports being used on passenger/crew or luggage transfer duties.
