40 Ton Bogie Tanker Kit - 1:76 Scale: Expression of Interest

The baby brother of our 7mm kit for the ICI/Henry Diaper 40 ton bogie tanker.

These short bogie tankers were introduced in the early 1930s and operated by a number of industrial concerns.

The kit will be printed in resin, the bogies being designed to accommodate wheelsets from 00, EM and P4 gauges. Fixing hardware (nuts and bolts) and wire will be included in the kit. Paint, transfers and adhesives will not be included. Wheels and bearings (we suggest Alan Gibson) will not be included.

The kit is anticipated to be ready to launch in July 2026 and will be priced at approximately £40. Due to the large amount of work in printing this kit pre-orders of ten units are required to make this kit viable.
