Leyland Marathon Cab Kit

This highly detailed resin printed cab kit enables modellers to produce a 1:43.5 Leyland Marathon heavy duty truck of the 1970s & 80s.

Introduced in 1973 the Leyland Marathon was British Leyland’s attempt to produce heavy duty articulated tractor unit suitable for long distance operations. The Marathon was to represent the last gasp of the Ergomatic cab, in this case being modified to suit a high datum ride. After significant problems with the original vehicles the Marathon was revised in 1977 (albeit the cab remained unchanged), production ceasing in 1981 with the introduction of the Leyland T45.
