75Ton Bogie Flat Wagon (Brinsworth Flat)

Scaled at 1:43.5 for 32mm (Finescale) 0 gauge this kit represents a 75Ton bogie flat wagon that was built by BRCW in the early 1950s wagons of this type were used at the United Steel Company’s (later British Steel) plants at Templeborough and Brinsworth to move steel billets. Similar vehicles were found at other steelworks throughout the UK.

Some wagons were converted to transport coils of steel rod through the fitting of support blocks along the length of the wagon deck.

This 3D printed kit consists of a single piece chassis, single piece body, screw assembled bogies and chassis detailing parts that can be fitted using epoxy adhesive, a simple entry level kit for modellers new to 0 gauge. The kit requires requires Slaters 7130 2’ 8½ “ (Lowmac) wheels and Parkside PS50 3 Link Couplings to complete.

The standard kit comes with a flat deck and end stanchions, on completing your order please email us if you require the kit with longitudinal supports for the coil carrying wagon.
