The Dinky Supertoys No 971 Coles Mobile Crane is a popular addition to many 0 gauge model railway goods yards and industrial locations. The Dinky crane represents a Coles Argus Petrol/Diesel-Electric cantilever crane constructed in the 1950s and 1960s and often used until the 1990s, examples of the cranes can still be seen today in scrap yards.
The detailing kit serves to improve on the features of the toy; a replacement detailed jib, complete driving cab interior, replacement detailed wheels to permit twin wheels on one axle and a replacement hook assembly.
