Scaled at 1:43.5 (7mm/ 1 Foot), this kit is ideal for modellers looking to add an articulated tractor to their road dioramas and 0 gauge model railways of the 1960s and 1970s.
As a companion to our Leyland Ergomatic vehicles, this kit represents the Leyland Beaver articulated tractor, a 30 ton GLW vehicle introduced in 1964. The Leyland Beaver was available with a variety of engines and the, then novel, ‘two pedal’ semi-automatic version. In the UK changing regulations eventually allowed the Beaver to work with trailers up to 30’ long, though shorter trailers like our 24’ trailer remained common.
All parts (apart from cab glazing) are designed on 3D CAD and are 3D printed.
