Scaled at 1:43.5 (7mm/ 1 Foot), this kit is ideal for modellers looking to add a flatbed lorry to their road dioramas and 0 gauge model railways from the late 1960s to the early 1980s.

The kit represents the Leyland Buffalo, a 16 ton GVW tractor designed to work with trailers up to a combined weight of 32 tons. Introduced in 1968 the Buffalo used the Leyland 500 engine which proved to have reliability problems causing operators to purchase vehicles from ERF, Foden, Scammell and Seddon who all offered alternative engines on equivalent sized vehicles. Not Leyland’s finest hour, the Buffalo 2 was replaced by the Buffalo 3 in 1975.

All parts (apart from cab glazing) are designed on 3D CAD and are 3D printed.
