Scaled at 1:43.5 (7mm/ 1 Foot), this kit is ideal for modellers looking to add an articulated tractor to their road dioramas and 0 gauge model railways of the 1970s and early 1980s.

The kit represents the Leyland Buffalo was a 16 ton GVW tractor designed to work with trailers up to a combined weight of 32 tons. In common with other vehicles introduced in 1968 the Buffalo used the Leyland 500 engine which proved to have reliability problems causing operators to purchase vehicles from other UK manufacturers like ERF or Scammell who all offered alternative engines or to switch away from UK manufacturers entirely. After revisions to the Buffalo design in 1975, notably to offer alternative engines, the design remained in production until 1980 when it was replaced by the T45 series. The Buffalo, along with the Marathon, represents the end of the production of the Ergomatic cab design.

All parts (apart from cab glazing) are designed on 3D CAD and are 3D printed.
