Scammell Handyman Chassis Kit

Scaled at 1:43.5 (7mm/ 1 Foot), this chassis kit is available for modellers producing their own road vehicles.

Introduced in 1962 with the other ‘Michelotti’ cabbed chassis the Scammell Handyman was a heavy duty 2 axle tractor chassis. In various forms the Scammell Handyman was to remain inproduction into the mid-1970s. The chassis kit represents a 10’ wheelbase vehicle and is suitable for use with both the Handyman 2 and 3 cabs that are available separately.

The chassis kit is designed on 3D Cad and is entirely printed in photo-reactive resin. The kit includes detailed mudguards and fuel tanks that are unique to the Handyman design. Step ring hub type wheels are provided for the steering axle. Wire is provided for the transmission shaft and mudguard supports.
