Scammell Trunker Chassis Kit

Scaled at 1:43.5 (7mm/ 1 Foot), this chassis kit is available for modellers producing their own road vehicles.

Introduced in 1962 with the other ‘Michelotti’ cabbed chassis the Scammell Trunker was a heavy duty 3 axle tractor chassis that was used for extensively used by oil companies. In various forms the Scammell Trunker was to remain in production into the mid-1970s. The chassis kit represents a 10’ wheelbase vehicle and is suitable for use with both the Trunker 2 and 3 cabs that are available separately.

The chassis kit is designed on 3D Cad and is entirely printed in photo-reactive resin. The kit includes detailed mudguards and fuel and air tanks that are unique to the Trunker design. Step ring hub type wheels are provided for the leading steering axle, with standard hubs for the second steering axle and rear axle. Wire is provided for the transmission shaft and mudguard supports.
